Being a Princess is Growing Up Elegantly . . . Even when Life is Rough! Our ancestors grew up in villages where the female elders laid the foundation for their youth. Today our villages are in danger. The family structure is becoming more and more divided. With single mothers having to be both provider and nuturer it is continually difficult to uphold ancient traditions which include hands on parental involvement. However, our ever-so wise ancestors also knew that it took a village, as a whole, to raise a child.
| The Nubian Queen's Society is that village. We do not want our young African-American girls, who lack positive role models, to fall victum to drugs, sexual promiscuity, poverty and hopelessness. Our goal is to provide mini-workshops led by successful & spiritual women who really care about the future of these queens in the making. The workshops are small, intimate, and provide a safe environment so that girls may feel free to express themselves without judgement. These workshops are holistically designed to enlighten the whole person . . . |
The mental:
The spiritual:
The combination of all three aspects allows the girls to grow into complete human beings. With the right medicine to ease the growing pains, Nubian Queens Society sets out to turn a difficult growing process into an elegant experience that would last a lifetime.

But those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint.
-Isaiah 40:31
